Liz: Those paintings are really stunning. It's that sort of talent that always makes me balk at doing my own tarot set. (When I was at university, I started planning out a Shakespeare deck after seeing how many existing ones appear to have been done by people who seemingly have never read any Shakespeare. R&J as the lovers? NO.) Thanks for the link.

Following along with the Tarot theme, one of my fave artists, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, did a many-year project wherein she did one painting for every. single. card. in the Tarot. It is both epic and breathtaking, and I LOVE the concept of similar projects being done as collaborative art endeavors. Stephanie's Tarot is here: http://www.shadowscapes.com/Tarot/index.html

Thanks, i needed that reminder. It took me 40+ years to learn (much to my chagrin) that nothing energizes me, elevates my mood & charges up my motivation more than simple, old fashioned exercise. I'm self employed & often struggle w/ motivation & time management. One of my favorite methods of procrastination is napping. And as a dedicated napper, it was a v. disconcerting to realize that exercise is a much more effective way to reset my brain, body & workday. I have to relearn this lesson semi-annually, but it's amazingly effective (for me) & i'm always both grateful & cranky to rediscover it.
